It’s the first really chilly fall day of the year here in the outskirts of New York City, so naturally my mind has wandered to fuctional (read: toasty!) fall & winter style.

Which is why I was so excited to come upon the line of Polartec Heat fleeces by Polartec. When it comes to toasty warm outerwear, Polartec wrote the book. The Polartec Heat fleeces use an ion-lithium battery pack to generate heat through specially designed conductive heat panels in the garment, complete with wireless remote for temperature control (You know how we love a good fashion/technology hybrid here at BMS!)

The most amazing thing about these fleeces is the sleek shape–even with all the hardware (and of course the comfy, fluffy fleece!), the garments are remarkably streamlined & flattering, and come in an array of colors in both men’s and women’s styles.
